The General meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month except November, December and January
from 7:00--9:00 PM at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District, 808 4th Street, Clovis, CA 93612
Board meetings are held from 4:30 - 7:30 at the Dennys on Shaw and Willow in Clovis.
Members and guests are always welcome.
No Meetings - November thru January
The program at each meeting (map of location below) consists
either of:
* an art demonstration by a well-known
artist
* a paint-along or other art activity
* a figure drawing
with a live model
* or an evening of
critiques of the members' art work
Pick of the Month is the Guild’s way of supporting our members efforts. Members are encouraged to bring in finished art (classroom art is okay too) that they are working on. At the end of the year, all 1st place winners are invited to return and be chosen as Pick of the year.
Members are encouraged to bring in their latest work at each meeting for the Pick of the Month contest. Other members vote for their favorites and one art piece will be chosen pick of the month. At the end of the year all winning pick of the month are voted on for pick of the year.
